SQL for Newcomers – A Crash Course
SQL for Newcomers – A Crash Course

I’m Sameh Sharaf. I’m a data engineer. So I figure I can say I’m experienced 17, I’ve worked on information since 2010.
SQL now is an excellent skill to have if you would like to function as a data analyst, data scientist, BI developer, information engineer, database administrator or maybe a software developer/engineer, since all these tasks need to use databases and information on a daily basis.
I am a newcomer, is this course for me?
Sure! This course was done for beginners. Even students with experience in SQL may find it useful to memorize some keywords and functions, in addition to learning more about the bits they may overlook.
Are there some requirements to attend this program?
It is some other operating system and a PC or notebook with performance. We are going to be utilizing Windows 10 for this class but the OS doesn’t matter since it is cross-platform and will operate on Mac and Linux.
Who this course is for:
  • Junior data analysts and scientists.
  • Junior developers who need to work on relational databases.
  • Undergraduate students who study relational databases in their curriculum.
  • Anyone who’s interested to learn SQL and add it to their resume.
  • Have a PC or laptop to work on. Your old clunky notebook will do.
  • Can work on any operating system (Windows, Linux & MacOS).
What you’ll learn
  • Able to select & filter data using SQL
  • Manipulate data by adding new records & modifying or deleting existing ones
  • Create & modify tables
  • Join tables using different join types SQL provides.
